Spring is here!
A mood of awakening is spreading. Although May is the official start of the season, which is duly celebrated with the “Trachtig Cuisine in Wolfgangsee” festival, everything starts to bloom here much earlier and the spring sun invites you to walk and cycle. Nowhere in Austria will you find such a high number of lakes than here in the Salzkammergut. And nowhere is it possible to get more impressions of water, forest and meadow, of natural monuments and world heritage regions of scenic beauty.

Autumn Pleasure!
For many, Autumn is the most beautiful season. Everything gets calmer, the temperature drops and the trees adorn themselves with a colourful coat. At Lake Wolfgang, there is also a special feature – the region is fog-free! Hikes around the lake and on the surrounding alpine pastures offer high enjoyment and invigoration for body, mind and soul. The alpine huts, snack stations and restaurants around Lake Wolfgang offer special culinary delights until the end of October. This is autumn pleasure on Lake Wolfgang.
Winter is here!
The month of December leads us into the quietest time of the year – Advent. In the towns of St. Gilgen, Strobl and St. Wolfgang, the Wolfgangsee Advent opens its doors at the end of November. Authentic markets and an atmospheric programme of events ensure a contemplative Advent atmosphere. By boat you can easily glide from market to market across the lake.
On the Postalm, winter sports enthusiasts can expect fantastic conditions for skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, winter hiking, or just for soaking up the sun. This makes Lake Wolfgang a premier spot – clear and safe.
